Ionizing radiation

Ionizing radiation as defined in Article 4(46) of Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom.

Isolated area

An area where the animal population is so low and the disposal facilities or plants are so remote that the arrangements required for the collection and transport of products of animal origin would be excessively burdensome compared to on-site disposal.
