Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Purpose
This document governs the conditions of use of the website goodfoodconsulting.eu (the “Website”), operated by GFC S.r.l. Società Benefit, registered office Via Monteporzio 13, 00178 Rome, Italy, VAT No. 17186361006 (hereinafter, “GFC” or the “Company”).
Accessing and browsing the Website implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”). If the user (“User”) does not intend to accept them, they must cease using the Website.
2. Definitions
- Website: the domain goodfoodconsulting.eu and its subdomains.
- Content: texts, images, logos, trademarks, videos, graphics, and any other element present on the Website.
- Service: the information published on the Website, the option to subscribe to the Company’s newsletter managed through the “Mailchimp” platform by Intuit Inc. (§ 9), and optimised content delivery through statistical analysis provided by “Google Analytics 4” (§ 10).
3. Intellectual property
All Content is owned by GFC or third-party licensors and is protected under copyright law (Law 633/1941) and trademark law (Legislative Decree 30/2005). Any reproduction, communication, distribution, modification, or use not expressly authorised in writing by the Company is prohibited.
4. Use of the Website
The User undertakes to use the Website in compliance with applicable law, these T&C, and general netiquette. The following are prohibited:
- altering or tampering with the Website;
- uploading or transmitting unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing content;
- attempting to access personal data or restricted areas without authorisation.
5. Limitation of liability
The Website is for informational purposes only. Neither GFC nor its representatives guarantee that the information provided is error-free or updated in real time. The Company shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of, or inability to access, the Website (art. 1229 Italian Civil Code).
6. Links to third-party sites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. Such links are provided solely for the User’s convenience and do not imply approval of the content. GFC has no control over such sites and accepts no responsibility for them.
7. Changes to the T&C
GFC reserves the right to amend these T&C at any time. Changes will be published on the Website and shall take effect from the date of publication.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by Italian law. Any dispute relating to their validity, interpretation, or performance shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, without prejudice to consumer protection provisions under Legislative Decree 206/2005.
9. Newsletter managed via Mailchimp
- Service: sending periodic communications on food safety, regulatory updates, and activities of GFC.
- Platform: Mailchimp®, provided by Intuit Inc., 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
- Role of Mailchimp: Data Processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; GFC has signed an agreement with Intuit Inc. in line with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Decision 2021/914).
- Extra-EEA data transfer: United States; legal bases Art. 46 GDPR (SCC) combined with the EU–US Adequacy Decision 2023 and additional encryption safeguards for data in transit and at rest.
- Cookies: the platform may install technical/functional cookies necessary for subscription completion, as well as anonymised analytics cookies (see Cookie Policy, § 3 – “Mailchimp”).
- Opt-in/Opt-out: voluntary subscription via dedicated form (double opt-in); unsubscription via link in each email or by writing to segreteria@goodfoodconsulting.it.
10. Statistical analysis service – Google Analytics 4
- Service: collection of aggregated, anonymised statistics on Website traffic for analysis and content optimisation.
- Platform: Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
- Role of Google: Data Processor under Art. 28 GDPR, according to the Data Processing Amendment (DPA) available from Google.
- Privacy configuration: IP anonymisation active; data retention period set at 14 months; no sharing with other Google services for marketing purposes.
- Extra-EEA data transfer: in certain cases, data may be processed by Google LLC (USA). Such transfers are carried out under the EU–US Adequacy Decision 2023 and, subsidiarily, under SCC with supplementary measures.
- User rights: ability to opt-out by installing the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics (Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on).
